چکیده
Bardeen's 1968 idea of a regular black hole spacetime was revived by Hayward in 2006 through the construction new example such geometry. Later it realised Neves and Saa, that wider, two-parameter class exists, with Bardeen spacetimes as special cases. In this article, we revisit generalise applying Damour-Solodukhin (DS) prescription. Recalling DS suggestion deformed Schwarzschild where $g_{tt} = -\left (1-\frac{2M_1}{r}\right )$, $g_{rr} \left (1-\frac{2M_2}{r}\right )^{-1}$ $M_1\neq M_2$, propose similar deformation The $g_{tt}$ $g_{rr}$ original line element remain functionally same, {\em albeit} mutations introduced via differently valued metric parameters, following idea. This results plethora geometries, known well new, including singular holes, wormholes or holes. We first study geometric features matter content each some detail. Subsequently, find scalar quasinormal modes corresponding to wave propagation these geometries. investigate how real imaginary parts depend on values ranges parameters used classify Finally, argue our family suggest their utility mimickers.

Quasinormal modes of nearly extremal Kerr spacetimes: spectrum bifurcation and power-law ringdown
We provide an in-depth investigation of quasinormal-mode oscillations of Kerr black holes with nearly extremal angular momenta. We first discuss in greater detail the two distinct types of quasinormal mode frequencies presented in a recent paper [1]. One set of modes, that we call “zerodamping modes”, has vanishing imaginary part in the extremal limit, and exists for all corotating perturbation...
متن کاملQuasinormal modes of a black hole with quintessence-like matter and a deficit solid angle: scalar and gravitational perturbations
In the previous paper (Li, X. Z., Xi, P., Zhai, X. H.: Phys. Lett. B666, 125-130 (2008)), we show the solutions of Einstein equations with static spherically-symmetric quintessence-like matter surrounding a global monopole. Furthermore, this monopole become a black hole with quintessence-like matter and a deficit solid angle when it is swallowed by an ordinary black hole. We study its quasinorm...
متن کاملScalar gravitational perturbations and quasinormal modes in the five dimensional Schwarzschild black hole
We calculate the quasinormal modes (QNMs) for gravitational perturbations of the Schwarzschild black hole in the five dimensional (5D) spacetime with a continued fraction method. As shown by Kodama and Ishibashi, the gravitational perturbations of higher-dimensional (higher-D) Schwarzschild black holes can be divided into three decoupled classes, namely scalar-gravitational, vectorgravitational...
متن کاملQuasinormal Modes and Strong Cosmic Censorship.
The fate of Cauchy horizons, such as those found inside charged black holes, is intrinsically connected to the decay of small perturbations exterior to the event horizon. As such, the validity of the strong cosmic censorship (SCC) conjecture is tied to how effectively the exterior damps fluctuations. Here, we study massless scalar fields in the exterior of Reissner-Nordström-de Sitter black hol...
متن کاملLifshitz quasinormal modes and relaxation from holography
We obtain relaxation times for field theories with Lifshitz scaling and with holographic duals Einstein-Maxwell-Dilaton gravity theories. This is done by computing quasinormal modes of a bulk scalar field in the presence of Lifshitz black branes. We determine the relation between relaxation time and dynamical exponent z, for various values of boundary dimension d and operator scaling dimension....
